Following the National Assembly voting overwhelmingly in favor of Ruto’s choice for deputy, Kindiki is set to be sworn into his new office.

He argued that the conservatory order issued by the Kerugoya High Court, which prevents Kindiki from being sworn into office, remains in effect.
“There is no possibility of Mr. Kìndiki being sworn in. The conservatory order issued in Kerugoya is still in force. I dare Mr. Ojienda to go on and have the man from Tharaka sworn in,” Njiru’s statement read.
