They acknowledged the exemplary job she does in her career, teaching children with passion and love.
A video on TikTok went viral online after she, as pupils and parents, appreciated the teacher uniquely.

A pupil wished teacher Cillah all the best, leaving the young lady shy and in tears as the guests vigorously clapped their hands.
Teacher Cillah appreciates parents
Cillah acknowledged she was happy about the gestures from the parents, noting it was a partnership.
“As much as I have been doing my thing, parents have also supported me. Your children have made me become Teacher Cillah,” she shared.
Cillah added that she received many gifts, including a printed portrait, which she could not stop showing off.
They also gifted her a cake as a token of appreciation for her unwavering hard work in teaching the kids and making learning for them fun.

Vihiga parents reward teacher who helped needy pupils
Similarly, Harriet Iravonga, a young teacher at Kaimosi Demonstration School in Vihiga county shared videos of her pupils gifting her chicken and sugarcane.
The teacher said she enjoyed a close relationship with the kids who were moving to Grade Four in 2025, and that was how she knew what some of them were going through.
On the last day of the term, the teacher and her pupils were sad to part ways for the next two months after having a great time together.
