Kenyans have learnt with profound shock and sadness that Wells Fargo Human Resources Manager Willis Ayieko is dead.

Many of them took to their social media platforms to decry the untimely death of the beloved HR manager.
After learning of his death, his brother William Ochieng Ogwang shared his devastation in a sad Facebook post.
“Rest easy brother Willis Ayieko. Willis Ayieko is no more; his body was found at a thicket in Gem Dudi,” he said.
In a previous post, while Ayieko was still missing, William had promised to treat any information shared with the family with confidentiality.
“Ayieko is still missing. Anyone with information, please call me or report to the nearest police station. Your information will be treated with the confidentiality it deserves. The family is going through a very difficult moment,” he said.

“Anyone in Sabatia who may have witnessed any thing in relation to the car to inform the police. Any small detail goes a long way to help investigate the sudden disappearance of my brother,” he added.
Before his untimely death, his cousin Eric Oduor had expressed hope that Ayieko would be found safe.
“This is the fifth night since my cousin, Willis Ayieko, was last seen. It is frightening to me to imagine that I am going to bed without knowing where he is and what has happened to him,” he said on October 22.
“I plead with his abductors to release him or at least tell us he is fine. Tell us what it is you want in exchange for his release. Don’t harm him; we want him alive and healthy. His phone, which was ringing but not being answered, has now gone off,” he added.

One of his his kin, Eddie Oduro said: “Justice will be done.”
Ayieko survived a road accident
Another story revealed that the year 2024 has been an unlucky one for Wells Fargo Human Resource Manager Willis Ayieko.
In March, he survived a road accident on the Southern Bypass while driving his orange pick-up.
Seven months later, he disappeared after attending a funeral in Gem, only for the same vehicle to be found abandoned in Sabatia.
