Kenya Airways has issued a warning to Kenyans about a fraudulent internal memo circulating online, which falsely advertises job vacancies at the airline.

The fake document, which has been widely shared on social media platforms and other online forums, claims to offer positions for Airline Food Service, Flight Attendants, Receptionists, Booking Clerks, and Security Officers.

The memo, dated October 10, 2024, and purportedly from the airline’s Human Resource Office, lists a set of key responsibilities for each role and encourages applicants to send their CVs to a suspicious email address, [email protected].

However, Kenya Airways has confirmed that this memo is a scam and that the company has not posted any such job vacancies.

In a statement, Kenya Airways urged members of the public to be cautious and avoid falling prey to such fraudulent schemes.

“Please be aware that the message circulating on social media regarding job openings at Kenya Airways is FAKE and did not come from us. For accurate and hiring information, always refer to our official website and channels,” Kenya Airways said on X.
