When did the Eastleigh family go missing?
The mother and her two daughters reportedly disappeared on Monday, October 21. Their bodies were later found dumped in Bahati, Parklands, and Machakos, respectively, with similar injuries.
Speaking to Citizen TV, Sumeya Noor, a relative of the family, said her aunt left on Monday morning, stating she was going to have her skin examined.
However, the mother had not returned home by 11p.m that fateful day causing her two daughters to worry.
The daughters, aged 11 and 22, reportedly went out to look for their mother, never to be seen alive again.
“Her daughters waited for her up until 11pm to no avail. Upon calling their mother, she insisted that she was on her way and will be home shortly. They then resorted to go pick their mother. That was last time we saw them alive. ,” Noor said.
A CCTV footage captured the two daughters outside at night making a phone call before a vehicle, believed to be a taxi, arrived and picked them up.
The bodies of the two daughters were then discovered in Bahati and Parklands after a prolonged search.
“We heard news that there was dead body dumped at Parklands. We found her killed in a gruesome manner,” Noor added.
Moments later, their mother’s body was discovered in a thicket in Machakos County, killed in the same manner as her daughters.
The family of the three deceased women is now urging the government to help them seek justice for their deaths.
