Jubilation filled the air at Kisumu International Airport as the top achievers from Migingo Girls Secondary School took an exclusive holiday trip.

The group, buzzing with excitement and joy, was treated to this rare executive getaway courtesy of their esteemed principal, Madam Irene.

Speaking exclusively to TUKO.co.ke, the kind principal disclosed that she sponsored the top three students who produced As and their class teachers.

She disclosed that the county school hasn’t been performing well until last year when their grades improved.

“Since we tasted success in the last exam, we don’t want to go lower; that is why we are investing,”Madam Irene added.

She chauffeured them to the airport, where they boarded a flight to Nairobi, had breakfast, and visited the University of Nairobi to see where they are heading.

At UoN, the young girls were taken through career choices after which they visited the Nairobi National Park to unwind before having lunch.

The trip is a special reward to recognize the hard work and dedication of both students and teachers who have excelled in their academic and professional endeavours.

It is also expected to give the students and teachers a well-deserved break and a memorable experience as they celebrate their achievements.

“We are beyond grateful for this opportunity, and it wouldn’t have been possible without your kind heart and leadership,” one of the students remarked.

The excitement among the students was palpable as they walked through the airport doors for a memorable adventure.

Teachers who joined the trip echoed the sentiment, praising their principal for her unwavering support and vision.

“Madam Irene is an honourable leader,” one teacher noted. “Her kindness and selfless service to humanity will never go unrewarded. She constantly inspires us to go beyond our limits.”
