How does Baba Jimmy want people to raise kids?

In a candid video, the loving parents of Jimmy and Cynthia shared that they prefer to home-school their kids as opposed to taking them to school.

“Some people have been telling us to take our kids to daycare and, yet people who do that don’t take good care of their kids,” said Baba Jimmy.

“You want to take your job as a parent and give to someone else; some parents don’t have a relationship with their kids,” he added.

Baba Jimmy pointed out how parents neglect their kids by just leaving them at daycares and in schools. He said that without proper guidance, the kids end up abusing substances and having early pregnancies.

What is homeschooling?

“Mama Jimmy and I have time for our kids as they are homeschooled. Some people say homeschooling is not real, but it is real and even better than formal schooling,” he said.

According to the Parents website, homeschooling involves parents educating their children at home instead of sending them to a traditional public or private school.

Baba Jimmy shared that when he sat for national exams in America, he was among the top students in subjects such as Maths and science; he scored 84% as his lowest marks

“Homeschooling has made be go very far; I don’t think public schools would have helped me that much. I don’t want my children to ever step in school. People should undertsand this,” he added.

He added that he also studied smaller engine repair, carpentry and plumbing, among others.

“I once made a dress for Mama Jimmy. Parents teach your children some of the things they won’t learn in school,” he said..

Mama Jimmy fails to impress Kenyans with English accent

In another story, Mama Jimmy did not impress Kenyans with her accent after spending two months in the US with her kids and husband, Baba Jimmy.

Kenyans picked up her accent in a viral TikTok video as she interacted with her son during a family moment.

Social media users, however, noted how fast Jimmy had adapted to the US accent as she bonded with his mother.
