The little boy attended his graduation ceremony without shoes or the decorative clothing often worn during such celebrations.
Evans Kiplagat Moi, who shared the photos, disclosed that the boy’s mother showed up to support her son despite the financial hardship.

Within hours of the story going viral online, the kindness of strangers began to pour in.
Carol Chepsiror, moved by the post, took swift action and helped restore the boy’s dignity by providing new shoes and essentials.
It emerged that the boy’s siblings also needed school uniforms and other basic supplies.
“Arise and shine, your time is now. God bless all of you for restoring dignity,” Evans wrote, thanking everyone involved.
As the boy steps into the next chapter of his academic journey, he does so with the encouragement and help of many compassionate hearts.
In what can best be described as a new dawn, he will walk into his first day of Grade 1 with a new uniform and shoes, ready to embrace his future with pride.
