Nairobi – Former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua has slammed President William Ruto for ordering the withdrawal of his security.
Speaking on Sunday, October 20, after being discharged from the hospital, Gachagua criticised the president for denying him security despite helping him to win elections in 2022.
Gachagua disclosed all his security details, including those guarding his home, had been withdrawn.
“It is unfortunate that when i was here in hospital, my brother and friend President William Ruto ordered for the withdrawal of my security. I didn’t know President Ruto can be that vicious,” Gachagua said.
Gachagua, who insisted he was still the second-in-command, said if anything happens to him or to any member of his family, then the president should be held accountable
