Embu—The differences between President William Ruto and his deputy, Rigathi Gachagua, continue to be public.
On Sunday, October 13, the deputy president toured Embu County for a church service at the ACK Diocese, which marked 34 years since its establishment.
The ceremony, which the president had initially planned to attend before cancelling at the last minute, is being held at St. Mark Teachers’ Training College.
To show the deepening divisions in the Kenya Kwanza administration, Gachagua arrived at the venue using a private chopper.
Gachagua’s move to use a private chopper elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans, given that it came days after members of the National Assembly impeached him.
