Ogembo OCPD Christine Amaya confirmed that police have already launched investigations into Nimrod’s disappearance.

“We have already taken statements, and the search for this child is ongoing,” Amaya said as reported by Citizen Digital.

Nimrod’s mother, Linet Kemunto, painfully recounted the moment the boy was reported missing while in school.

According to the mother, Nimrod failed to return home together with his brother Adrian whom they school, prompting them to search for him.

“My child Adrian usually goes home with Nimrod every day, but that day Adrian said he looked for him a lot after being told to leave school to come home and didn’t know where Nimrod had gone… that’s when I went to the school and decided to search the whole school, even the bathroom, without finding him,” Kemunto said.

The family said Nimrod’s schoolmates said their son was allegedly kidnapped by a man wearing a mask and was driving a white car.

“At school, there’s a kid who said there was an old man he saw who came wearing a mask near their home, grabbed Nimrod, put him in a car, and then ran away,” she added.

Nimrod’s father, Joram Osiemo, pleaded with the investigative agencies to help in tracing the man who allegedly kidnapped his son.

Osiemo said they are increasingly becoming worried as the search for their missing son continues without hope.

“What we want as a family is a thorough investigation by the police. We’re not sleeping, we’re extremely worried,” Osiemo said.
