Kenyans woke up to the news of popular Super Metro tout Gerald Mwangi, alias Makanga Bae, who sadly succumbed to his injuries on the night of Thursday, October 10.

Makanga Bae was involved in a fatal accident a little over a week ago, and he sustained serious injuries, necessitating the amputation of his leg and subsequent death.
TUKO has exclusively obtained a video depicting some of the last moments of the beloved Makanga, who gained internet fame a year ago due to his stunning looks and luscious beard.

In the clip shared hours before the accident, Mwangi visited one of his favourite eateries in Makongeni while waiting for passengers to board the Super Metro.

The owner of the local eatery observed that the Makanga appeared more tired than usual, unlike his usual upbeat self.
In the clip, the eatery owner saw him dozing off, and that was when she recorded the video, unaware she was recording the tout’s last moments as the accident happened hours later.
“Mwas! Mwas! The vehicle is leaving,” she is heard telling him while waking him up.
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, a source said that the makanga had lunch and started sleeping.
“On that day, he had some two chapatis. It was unusual as he only ate one and waited for passengers, but that day, he ate two. The video was taken at lunch time before the accident happened hours later that evening,” he said.
