The 20-year-old reportedly received a phone call around 11 p.m. while at her home in the Pipeline area before she disappeared only to be found dead.

What did the eyewitness say about Kwamboka’s death?

An eyewitness reported that he was walking in Mwiki when he discovered Kwamboka lying helplessly on the ground gasping for air.

In an interview with Citizen TV, the man stated that he saw Kwamboka wearing only her undergarments, with her mobile phone and KSh 1,000 beside her.

“She was covered in a blanket and had only one black shoe on. She tried to stand up and walk. It looked like something had happened to her before she was brought there,” the witness said.

The witness reported that he was able to see the vehicle that brought her to the location where she was found.

“That vehicle came from this direction going downwards. The people inside saw there were few people in the vicinity and left her there,” he added.

Kwamboka’s mother, Stella Kerubo, emotionally described the condition in which she found her daughter. She noted that it looked like Kwamboka had been dragged on the ground, as the back of her hair was covered in dirt.

“They tortured her a lot because her leg was broken like a sugarcane. They had also doused acid on her hands,” Kerubo said.
