The politician was overjoyed as she took to social media to share the double good news of the delivery and naming.
“I was very excited to find a newborn named after me moments after I walked into the Kithyoko Health Centre.
I couldn’t resist the urge to throw an early baby shower for her,” Wavinya noted.
She shared she was making a hospital visit when she received the news that excited her.
Wavinya Ndeti gifts new mum diapers
In appreciation to the mum, Wavinya, a proud mother, gifted the woman two packets of diapers.
The mother looked delighted to receive the politician’s gift. She took the gifts with both hands and smiled.
Wavinya also bought the lady some nice-looking, brand-new baby clothes to celebrate her blessing.
An elderly lady in the hospital held the newborn as she pronounced the blessing in her mother tongue.
